Axel Gosseries é investigador permanente no Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique (FNRS) e professor na Universidade de Louvain, sendo uma voz proeminente no debate sobre justiça intergeracional. Nesta temática tem publicado em revistas como as J. of Political Philosophy, Economics & Philosophy, PPE, International Economic Review, Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review, Canadian J. of Philosophy. É ainda autor de um livro sobre justiça intergeracional (Aubier, Paris, 2004), bem como o editor de dois livros, incluindo Intergenerational Justice (2009, OUP, com Lukas Meyer). Nesta entrevista são abordadas algumas das principais teorias da justiça intergeracional, apresentando maneiras possíveis de especificar - e de promover o seu cumprimento - as exigências de tais abordagens. Os desafios específicos - tanto materiais e processuais - que essas propostas têm de enfrentar são também explorados.A entrevista foi conduzida por Laura Centemeri e Mathias Thaler, ambos Investigadores do CES. Axel Gosseries is a permanent research fellow at the Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique (FNRS) and a professor at the University of Louvain. He is an influental scholar in the debate concerning intergenerational justice.  He has published on this topic in journals such as J. of Political Philosophy, Economics & Philosophy, PPE, International Economic Review, Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review, Canadian J. of Philosophy. He is the author of a book on intergenerational justice (Aubier, Paris, 2004) as well as the editor of two books, including Intergenerational Justice (2009, OUP, with Lukas Meyer). In this interview he discusses some of the main theories of intergenerational justice, presenting possible ways of specifying - and promoting compliance with - the demands of such views. The specific challenges - both procedural and substantive - that such proposals have to face are also explored.The interview was made by Laura Centemeri and Mathias Thaler, both researchers at CES.
