Peter Wehrl, ativista pelos direitos das pessoas com deficiência da Suiça, partilhou com os participantes a história de avanços e retrocessos do modelo de Vida Independente na Suíça, numa preleção intimista e motivadora, onde o fracasso e os retrocessos marcaram a história da luta pela vida independente naquele país, alertando para que Portugal possa intervir socialmente numa perspetiva de antecipação.

Peter Wehrl, an activist for the rights of people with disabilities in Switzerland, shared with the participants the history of advances and setbacks of the model of Independent Living in Switzerland, in an intimate and motivating lecture, where failure and setbacks marked the history of the struggle for independent living in that country, drawing attention to the fact that Portugal can intervene socially in a perspective of anticipation.
