Gabriel Gatti é professor titular de teoria sociológica na universidade do País Basco, onde ensina teoria sociológica e sociologia da identidade. É coordenador do Centro de Estudos sobre a Identidade Colectiva, onde coordena uma linha de investigação sobre a identidade da vítima, e co-responsável pelo Comité de Investigação nº1 (Identidade, espaço e politica), da Associação Internacional dos Sociólogos de Língua Francesa (AISLF).

Gabriel Gatti is professor of social theory at the University of the Basque Country, where he teaches sociological theory and sociology of identity. He coordinates the Collective Identity Research Centre, where he is the head of research on the identity of the victim.
