Este seminário abordou os diferentes tipos da violência (física, psicológica, sexual e social), os seus impactos e prevalência em diferentes modalidades desportivas, os perfis das vítimas e dos/as agressores/as e as relações de poder entre atletas, treinadores/as e pais. Também examinou as representações da violência sexual em contextos desportivos de base e de alto rendimento.

Esta atividade insere-se no projeto europeu EQUI-Champions | Promoting inclusion, gender equity and non-violent models of masculinities in sports environment  (GA 101134522), financiado pela Agência Executiva de Educação e Cultura da União Europeia (EACEA).

This seminar addressed the different types and impacts of violence (physical, psychological, sexual, and social), their prevalence across different sports, the profiles of victims and perpetrators, and the power relations between athletes, coaches, and parents. It also examined the representations of sexual violence in grassroots and high-performance sport contexts.
