Desde os anos 80, as ideias económicas conhecidas por neoliberais tornaram-se dominantes em Portugal. A sua aplicação, em consonância com a integração europeia, modificou as estruturas económicas, mas registou fracos resultados no desenvolvimento do país. Como foi que essas ideias chegaram a Portugal, se difundiram e espalharam até se tornarem hegemónicas? E por que é tão difícil removê-las? Este filme procura responder as estas perguntas e questionar o futuro. 

Since the 1980s, the economic ideas known as neoliberals became dominant in Portugal. Its application, in line with the European integration, transformed the economic structures but registered poor results in the country's development. How did these ideas arrive in Portugal and spread until they became hegemonic? And why is it so difficult to eliminate them? This film seeks to answer these questions and question the future.
